Jan -2024 Captain Dan Gruta, USN (Ret) shared the remarkable story of the future USS Telesforo Trinidad at the USS Midway Museum. This special event was part of the Filipinos of World War II Congressional Gold Medal Presentation, honoring Ship Serviceman Second Class Demetrio Bogtong, USN (Ret).

In March 2024, members of the USSTTCC and board members gathered at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico to participate in the Bataan Memorial Death March.
